Because of you, Caitlyn is immersing herself in coursework and community-building. With support from the Center for Life Beyond Reed, she was hired as an English department intern. In this position, she helped develop a program to pair new students with upper class mentors, in addition to planning fun events like trivia and craft nights. This summer, Caitlyn is interviewing alumni about their careers in order to create a professional pathways resource for fellow English majors.

With his degree, Jonah hopes to bridge the gap between how psychologists theorize and diagnose mental illnesses. Thanks to you, he’s already making an impact in his field. In addition to his senior thesis, Jonah was recently published as a first author in a medical journal after finding new ways to measure the effects of therapeutic psychedelics.
